Product Description
The POLYPETROFILM is a versatile fluoroprotein filmogenic foam FFFP-AR with high performances for hydrocarbon and polar liquid fires. It results from an association of a protein foam base, fluorinate surfactants oleophobic and filmogenic as well as selected plastics to protect the foam blanket from the destructive solvents.
By the rapidity and security of its action, it is adapted to the fights when a fast intervention is essential in order to save lives or prevent spread of damages.
It can be used as a filmogenic water additive on hydrocarbon fires. It is stable in premixture. It is also used in medium expansion for the retention of toxic vapors on chemical products (list on request).
It is especially adapted for an use in :
- Production units, used where hydrocarbons and/or polar solvents are stored, processed or transported : refineries, fuel depots, oil tanker, port facility, petrochemical complex,
- Loading station,
- Storage and production units of chemical products,
- Various industries,
- Ships that transport various chimicals,
- Fire brigade (utility of having a single type of foam for every flammable liquid fires, in low or medium expansion),
- Sprinkler installations.
