Product Description
The M51 foam is a synthetic foam double effect wetting/foaming for fires from class A. It is a blend of hydrocarbon synthetic foaming agents and stabilisers specially formulated to give a strong wetting effect at low use levels.
The extinction of fires of solids (Class A) with M51 is brought by the following actions :
- Cooling the heart of the fire to stop distillation of volatile substances.
- Smothering the fire by increasing the percentage of steam in the air and reducing the amount of available oxygen from the air.
- Ingress of water into the heart of the fire : wetting effect
M51 are particularly adpated for Fire Brigades every day interventions: small hydrocarbon fires, car fire, farm equipments, dwellings, buildings fires…
